Proper care of your Aku/Akwa tee will keep you looking fresh and stylish! We have two types of shirts, hand painted/hand screened and printed. The handpainted are created with love and sent to you from the artist/owner. The printed tees are printed by our fulfillment partner and then sent to you.
Handpainted:
Turn your tee inside out and machine or hand wash in cool water. Tumble dry on low, or hang to dry for best results. Iron the design from the inside of the shirt.
Printed:
When your shirt is brand new, it may have a slight vinegar scent to it as a result of the fixing agent to keep the design in place and add to the longevity. As such, we suggest that you wash it before the first wear. The scent will disappear right away!
